Confederazione Generale dell´Agricoltura Italiana (CONFAGRICOLTURA) – Italian Farmers’ Association

CONFAGRICOLTURA is the oldest agricultural organisation from Italy, with more than one century of history. The organisation represents the agricultural enterprises in all the main institutional, national and international centers. The territorial articulation of the Association is assured from 19 Regional Federations, 98 provincial centers (Provincial Agricultural Unions) and from numerous regional offices. Almost 290.000 SMEs belong to CONFAGRICOLTURA. Moreover it is present in Brussels with a representation office at the European Union. It has numerous agencies connected and adherent agencies like ENAPRA, the Center Studies and Formation of CONFAGRICOLTURA. ENAPRA was constituted in 1959 in order to promote the training and the professional improvement in agriculture. In 1978 it has obtained the acknowledgment of the suitability to carry out tasks of associate-economic information and professional qualification of the persons who work in agriculture.
